CRAZY to think that this school is now gone! It’s being slowly demolished but has been replaced by a state of the art New West Secondary. I wonder if the ghosts will remain since no one has prayed for them and now the building built on them is gone.

Im fortunate enough to live in British Columbia. I've walked across that bridge many times and always enjoyed it's uniqueness.

I wonder if some of the original settlers in Derby Reach when Fort Langley settled in Maple Ridge. Just across the river. Maybe some settled there too in unnamed places. Is that river so hard to cross? Maybe now it is but if they were equipped with good canoes back then maybe they did.

Hello me and my family are going there in a couple of days and I was wondering how bad is the drop on the howlin tornado it doesn’t look to bad but it is pitch black, water slides are kinda intimidating.

Mine was Wonder Mountains Guardian. The 30 feet drop was insane...

its trains were relocated to another coaster and still operate. which is strange because its the trains that caused the accident.

The original version was significantly better. 2.0 seemed a scaled back, budget effort and the interactive aspect lost its appeal very quickly after riding it once or twice. Obviously a more current version is necessary, but overall the theming /style of the original was best.

I've been to Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, and I speak from over 20 years of studying marine biology. Sand Tiger sharks' teeth the way then is very visible makes them look dangerous but really, they're quite a docile species. Rough tailed rays can exceed 250 lbs and always love sea turtles, and even though they're not usually aggressive, the saw shark (a type of ray) is the fish that puts me most on edge!

I wonder if the new test track 3.0 will include animatronics?

Generally a great video, but a few corrections... The original was not 1865. Original construction began spring 1863, officially opened to traffic in September. There was no previous bridge, Frank Way ran a ferry near the location and lost that business when the Alexandra of 1863 opened. You mention the CPR led to the decline in traffic over the bridge, which is true, but the primary reason was the CPR itself took over large portions of the Cariboo road bed... there was no more Cariboo thru road south of Spence's Bridge by 1885. When the 1926 bridge and 1927 highway opened, large new road sections had been constructed. You mention the modern bridge was built in 1964, which is also true, but the BC highway construction at the time was heavily engaged in a much bigger project... the 1962 Trans-Canada Highway, of which the current bridge is part. Finally, the description states the Cariboo Road was an important link to Fort Langley, but realistically Fort Langley was but a stopover for the steamboats that transported most of the goods and people of the gold rush between New Westminster and Yale.

Does the so-called design have any real impact on the ride? I mean does it change how fast, how responsive, how stable the ride feels? I doubt it.

Are they actually going to change and update the track layout this time? I don;t think we need a third version of the same track.
